Affordable Voice, Guitar or Theory Lessons + Guitar Set-ups
I am a singer-songwriter and guitarist, in the southeast Etobicoke area, with an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Classical Voice, along with Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 8 Voice and Grade 2 Theory Rudiments certificates. I have been performing and practicing for over 20 years, as well as teaching for the past 7 years. I have learned a lot about guitar technique on my own and through networking. I know about how to warm up the voice and about vocal health. I wish to give back my music knowledge to you in a comfortable setting geared to your individual needs. I have a patient approach, and I aim to make learning fun as well! If you've always wanted to sing AND play together, I can help you do both! 🙂
I teach basic theory, voice technique and beginner-intermediate guitar (acoustic or electric), or a combination of the three, at a reasonable rate of $30 per half-hour, $40 per 45 minutes, or $50 per hour, $5 extra for in-home lessons (within a reasonable distance).
You can SAVE per lesson WHEN PAYING IN ADVANCE for 4 or more lessons: $170 for 4 one-hour lessons, $150 for 4 – 45-minute lessons, or $100 for 4 half-hour lessons.
Plus, if you pay in advance, there's the option of learning by Skype or Google Meet, due to the pandemic and if you can't make it in person for a lesson (after the pandemic). Advance payment would have to be set up first. Please contact me for further details on packages.
Also, I can set up your acoustic or electric guitar (or bass) in my home for just $45, which includes changing the strings, polishing, adjusting the action and intonation and conditioning the fretboard with lemon oil or guitar polish (for maple fretboards). I would just require your set of strings, as I do not carry a supply. Good brands are D'Addario Phosphor Bronze Light (or 80/20 Bronze Light for a brighter sound), or Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (for electric guitars).
