Elephants & Stars is a Hamilton/Toronto-based original rock band looking for a keyboard player to join our four-piece lineup. We’re based around the west GTA, with our rehearsal space in South Etobicoke.

We’re focused primarily on writing, recording and continuing to build on the momentum from our recent EP releases, though we do play live shows selectively. We’re not trying to grind out 100 gigs a year — we’re more interested in making music we’re proud of and enjoying the process.

About us:
• Four experienced musicians (guitar/vocals, guitar, bass, drums) who’ve played together for years
• Relaxed, collaborative, low-drama environment
• Everyone has jobs and families, but we still take the music seriously and keep a consistent weekly rehearsal schedule
• Influences range from indie rock and power pop to touches of ‘80s metal. We’ve heard comparisons to bands like Gaslight Anthem, The Menzingers, The Cars, though people tend to hear different things in our sound

We’re looking for someone who:
• Can add tasteful keys/synth textures, melodies and ideas
• Is interested in recording and contributing creatively
• Is reliable, easygoing and collaborative
